Balanced living is about knowing and having perspective that there is grace, and that there is something working in the universe besides you and your daily experience. Whatever that is – be it energy, beliefs, something else – that’s what keeps me balanced. I always try to live with gratitude.
My daughter also keeps me real and reminds me of the bigger picture. For me, I try to do as many things as I can that give me perspective on life such as yoga, taking a walk, being with my family, just anything that gives me a buffer zone and takes away from being in the thick of it all. Then I feel more balanced and it helps me seize every day with a more level mindset.
