Health issue: scars
Symptoms: Over the last three years, I had two major surgeries, which left me with two 12-inch-plus scars on my back, following up my rib cage. My surgeon did an incredible job, literally saving my life; however, as the scar tissue formed, I began experiencing constant, excruciating pain. The pain was preventing me from sleeping and from being able to work.
Health recommendation: I found a naturopathic doctor who specializes in pain treatments. On her advice, I followed a course of acupuncture treatments for the pain.
The results: I experienced immediate relief. After the second treatment I felt tremendous relief and had no pain for three days! After each treatment, my scar would not be painful for a longer period of time. Just after five treatments I went on a long trip and was pain-free the entire time! I am so grateful to have an effective pain management program without resorting to harmful medications.
