Amy’s Kitchen – one of Canada’s leading “natural” frozen food manufacturers – is recalling more than 73,000 cases of product over concerns that organic spinach used may pose a listeria risk.

Amy’s Kitchen has voluntarily recalled a number of products distributed across North America

Consuming listeria can lead to the illness listeriosis, which can cause a high fever, severe headache, a stiff neck and nausea. Listeriosis can also lead to premature delivery or miscarriage in pregnant women and can be a serious illness for those with weakened immune systems.

There have been no illnesses reported.
