There’s nothing like hiding a bit of spinach in a chocolate banana smoothie bowl. Make it for breakfast and you’re off to a running start for the day.
INGREDIENTS:
Smoothie Bowl
• 1 frozen banana, 4 slices reserved for topping
• ½ cup almond milk or other dairy-free milk
• 1 tablespoon almond butter
• 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
• 1 tablespoon maple syrup
• 1 cup spinach
Toppings
• 4 banana slices (from above)
• 1 strawberry, sliced
• 2 tablespoons dairy-free chocolate chips
• 2 tablespoons raw shelled hempseed
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Add the smoothie bowl ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
2. Pour into a bowl and garnish with the toppings.
