Natural Health Recommendations: A naturopathic doctor advised that I should start a regimen of prenatal vitamins, focusing on maximizing my folic acid intake. He also recommended that I take an omega-3 fish oil supplement. Of course eating lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and low-fat proteins is also key.
Results: I was thrilled to become the mother to my healthy baby boy William. I am currently breastfeeding exclusively for William’s first six months and I will continue with my pre-pregnancy routine of supplementation and eating well.
