Position: Content Creator, Manager

We are seeking an experienced Content Creator, Manager who will oversee the distribution of digital and print content. The ideal candidate will have experience in the publishing industry and be able to strategize and delegate in the rapidly changing landscape of traditional to digital media.

Key Roles:
  • Generate story ideas and leads
  • Develop and document the content marketing strategies
  • Outline a channel plan
  • Establish standards, technology and tools, best practices and workflows to manage the content marketing life cycle
  • Collaborate with team members, content writers and editors
  • Write, edit, post, and update content on various platforms
  • Identify new content opportunities, exploring ways to repurpose content
  • Assist with putting together weekly newsletters and help manage social media platforms
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Journalism, English, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of relevant publishing experience
  • Three to five years of relevant writing and editing experience
  • Excellent writing, editing, communication, interviewing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms
  • Strong capabilities with Microsoft Office and WordPress
  • Ability to work well as part of an editorial team; a true team player
  • Excellent time management skills in a deadline-driven environment
  • May be required to travel to industry events
