Health Canada is still on verge of trying to regulate Natural Health Products in the same manner as drugs but what this means for consumers is that they need to become more vocal on your stance.
“This is a scary time for the industry,” says Patrick Toledano, president of Herbasante. “Health Canada is looking to scrap what we previously worked hard to build. From a financial standpoint, this represents 10 years of our paying to adhere to the current standards possibly going down the drain.”
Companies in the industry cant win this battle on their own, support from dedicated customers, that’s why Toledano and other members in the industry are relying on the help of petitions from clients as well. So don’t forget how important it is that you voice how you feel about these very serious concerns, because it can make a difference.
