HEALTH ISSUE: Generalized Anxiety Disorder
SYMPTOMS: I constantly felt on edge, and was experiencing excessive levels of anxiety—with no apparent triggers. What’s more, I had a great deal of tension in my neck and shoulders, which led to very painful headaches.
HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS: I was recommended L-arginine and L-lysine by my naturopath, as this combination has been shown to modulate cortisol levels. I also started a massage regimen for my neck tension.
THE RESULTS: The L-arginine and L-lysine combination has definitely made a difference in my anxiety levels. I feel like my mood is more regulated, and I’ve been having fewer anxiety attacks. The massage regimen has also helped with my neck tension, which has reduced the severity and frequency of my headaches.
