Ever wonder what it’s like to attend an Emmy-pre party? (And what kind of swag you’d walk out with?) Well, Viva was invited to Doris Bergman’s 5th Annual Emmy Style Lounge and Party held at the famous Fig & Olive restaurant where, once again, Bergman and her crew outdid themselves.
MD Sun was the major sponsor, but celebrities were treated to everything from jewelry and candles to clothing and delicious cupcakes.
Gerard Cosmetics had a sizable crowd around its table checking out the vegan and cruelty-free products. Eva LaRue loved the lipsticks in a lighted and mirrored tube, along with their “Red Carpet Survival Kit.” Emmy nominee Kate Burton (Scandal) came to partake in the fun and food, and fell in love with Jones & Rose all natural “Body Butter” and “After Sun Shea Butter,” also a favorite of Kelly Rowland.
Also Emmy nominated this year for his role in Ray Donovan was Jon Voight who arrived for photo ops and stopped by Art Lewin’s booth for an eco-friendly silk tie and 100 per cent cotton socks. Voight and Sylvester Stallone are frequent celebs who visit Lewin’s Beverly Hills custom clothier boutique for menswear.
Bon Bon Signature Candle was one of Mary Murphy’s, judge from So You Think You Can Dance, favorite gifts. The hand-poured jar that burns clean for 85-plus hours is an all-natural product, but it was the packaging that caught her eye. “The ornate cover is almost like an art piece,” says Murphy.
Honest Tea’s Pomegranate Blue drink was a welcome respite in the sunny California afternoon. The organic thirst quencher had everyone from Paige Hurd (Everybody Hates Chris) to Ntare Mwine (Treme) singing its praises.
Everyone was gifted Whitening Lightning’s gluten-free Dial A Smile, that is enjoyed by Ricki Lake, Marie Osmond and the entire cast of Dancing With The Stars.
