What’s your secret food vice? Plain potato chips will be the death of me.
What is your number one comfort food? My family’s favourite – mashed potatoes on toast. It’s my grandpa’s and my thing.
What are the top three things you do to keep a balanced lifestyle? Eat well, be active, keep in touch with friends and family.
What is your biggest food challenge? I love food, but I always eat way too much and my stomach hurts. Worth it, though!
What keeps you eating a balanced diet? I feel better when I eat well. Plain and simple.
Any allergies or dislikes? I’m allergic to dairy, corn and cabbage. And I don’t like meat or sweet pickles.
What are some of your go-to meals? Pasta with stir-fry, steamed kale with beans and quinoa and huge salads.
Strangest food(s) you’ve tried? Eel, snails, octopus. This might explain the whole not liking meat thing!
What is your favourite meal to make for guests in your home? Vegetarian shepherd’s pie. So good!
What is your favourite ingredient to cook with and why? Leafy greens, because they are delicious and nutritious.
What is your favourite city to eat out in? Why? L.A.! So many out-of-this-world vegan restaurants.
What have you been busy with lately? Lots of auditions. I’m splitting my time between L.A. and Vancouver. Recently I had the premiere of Red Riding Hood and then a TV show called The Killing premiered.
