What says winter comfort more than warm, savoury chili? This recipe, chock-full of ground turkey, rapini, and broccoli florets, is your next healthy go-to option.

INGREDIENTS:
¥ 1lb ground turkey
¥ 1 large onion, brunoised
¥ 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
¥ 1-28oz can crushed tomatoes
¥ 3⁄4 cup corn kernels, cooked
¥ 1 cup Eden Foods organic pinto beans
¥ 1 cup broccoli florets
¥ 1 cup rapini, roughly chopped
¥ 2 tbsp chili powder
¥ 1 tsp paprika
¥ 1⁄2 tsp dried oregano
¥ 1⁄2 tsp cumin
¥ 1⁄2 tsp onion powder
¥ 1⁄2 tsp garlic powder
¥ 1⁄2 tsp cayenne
¥ 1 tsp celery salt
¥ 1 tsp honey
¥ 3⁄4 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
¥ 2 cups water
¥ 2 tbsp safflower oil
¥ 2 cups low sodium chicken stock
DIRECTIONS:
1. Over medium heat, use a large pot or Dutch oven to heat the safflower oil and then add onion. Sauté until translucent and add garlic.
2. Stir for one minute and add turkey, ensuring it browns evenly.
3. Add tomato sauce and stir to ensure nothing is stuck to the bottom of the pot.
4. Add stock and all remaining ingredients except for the broccoli florets.
5. Reduce heat to low and simmer partially covered for 45 minutes.
6. Fold in broccoli florets and serve.
